DESCRIPTION:11 February 2025 \nSkilled workers are in short supply in many areas\, and the demand for well-trained specialists is constantly growing. \nIn order to increase the appeal of vocational training and attract young talent at an early stage\, OES is making a targeted commitment to selected schools. There\, future specialists are not only informed about the diverse opportunities offered by vocational training but are also actively encouraged to pursue a career in this field. \nA particular focus is on practical training programmes that enable pupils to experience modern technologies at first hand. In particular\, we present the fascinating world of flexible electronics\, giving young talents a direct insight into innovative applications and future prospects. Through this practice-orientated approach\, we want to arouse interest in technical professions and secure the next generation of skilled workers.

The event is designed to help participants\, especially VET providers\, gain insights into these three interconnected areas. \nPurpose: \nThe primary goal of this workshop is to bridge knowledge gaps and foster collaboration among industry professionals\, educators\, and consortium members. It offers a unique opportunity to explore the latest developments and applications in PFOE. \nWorkshop Highlights: \nThe workshop will feature expert introductions from two specialists\, each delivering a 10-minute presentation on their respective fields. These introductions will cover key aspects such as the main focus of their field\, commonly known products\, and current technologies relevant to their company or institute. They will also discuss the types of PFOE applications being developed\, such as integrated sensors and medical devices. Furthermore\, the specialists will provide insights into the educational background of employees working in organic electronics\, highlighting specific programs or professions that best fit current needs\, such as chemistry\, engineering\, electronics\, and mechatronics. They will address the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration to bridge knowledge gaps and the tools or technologies critical in the current market. \nFollowing the introductions\, there will be an interactive Q&A session where participants can ask questions and gain deeper insights into PFOE topics.
