Tackling the Main Challenge of the INFINITE Project

The INFINITE Project addresses a critical gap in the European vocational education landscape: the absence of qualifications at EQF levels 3-7 in digital printing, flexible, and organic electronics (PFOE). Despite the high demand for these skills in the industry, current educational offerings fall short. The market for PFOE is projected to grow significantly, from €37.8 billion in 2020 to over €68 billion by 2030, highlighting the urgent need for a skilled workforce.

The main challenges identified are twofold: (1) training VET teachers and company trainers to deliver high-quality skills related to PFOE, and (2) creating a new curriculum that aligns with industry needs. There is an immediate need for vocational training programs focusing on EQF levels 3-5 to bridge this gap. The INFINITE Project is dedicated to overcoming these challenges by developing comprehensive training and educational frameworks that meet the evolving demands of the PFOE sector.
