Consortium

The INFINITE consortium includes the comprehensive range of stakeholders required to implement innovative curriculum related flexible electronics involves regional and national education systems and cross-border frameworks necessary to meet demand for new skills in the European value chain. It integrates the complementary skills of all partners for stakeholder networking, policy making, training delivery and integration, and Europe wide dissemination and implementation – all of which is needed to create a competitive initiative. This project is coordinated by OES with the support of complementarity entities (9 partners and 10 associated partners). The following figure shows the geographical distribution of the beneficiaries partners only:

AVO

AVO is a non-profit training organization providing excellent VET for around 350 trainees from 60 partner companies. It specializes in EQF level 4 professions, such as mechatronics, industrial electronics, automation technology, and laboratory technicians. AVO combines theory and practice to address gaps in the dual VET system. In 2023, it will introduce EQF level 5 trainings for laboratory workers. AVO’s extensive network includes about 60 companies. AVO will lead WP2, identifying current and future skills demanded by European industry.

LETERA

LET is Latvia’s largest network for the electronic industry, comprising 101 members including companies and educational institutions. It aims to develop VET excellence, implement new curricula, and foster national and international cooperation. LET focuses on electrical engineering, electronics, ITC, and more, and will lead WP5, promoting cooperation and partnership.

OES

OES, based in Dresden, Germany, is an association for printed, flexible, and organic electronics (PFOE). It promotes innovation and collaboration among members, organizes events, and supports education and training. OES facilitates industry partnerships for Research and Development projects, contributing to the competitiveness of the European PFOE industry. OES will lead WP1 (coordination) and WP7 (impact and dissemination).

OT

Ogre Technical School (OT) in Latvia empowers students with career-ready skills through 21 diverse secondary vocational programs (EQF 4). With a 190 staff OT fosters a dynamic learning environment over 1400 students across four departments: Forestry, Woodworking and Hunting, Computer Science, Electronics and Administrative work, Design and Art, Restaurant and Hotel Services. OT champions international collaboration and innovation. The school actively participates in EU projects, and since 2020, has been accredited to offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme.

VTT

VTT is a Finnish state-owned RTO focused on carbon-neutral solutions, sustainable products, and digital technologies. With 2130 staff and extensive experience in European projects, VTT leads the PrintoCent Industry Cluster, promoting innovation in printed intelligence. VTT’s pilot manufacturing facilities in Oulu support technology development and early market trials. In INFINITE, VTT will develop and implement tools for PFOE research and training, ensuring efficient learning for VET teachers and SMEs.

Functional Print

Functional Print is a Spanish cluster uniting 85 entities involved in functional printing. It collaborates with VET centers and universities to create specialized training in printed electronics. FUNCP plays a role in national policy creation and offers annual training and technological talks. Partnering with SALES, FUNCP aims to establish an international specialization in functional printing by 2025. FUNCP will lead WP6, focusing on governance and funding.

OAMK

OAMK is an international multidisciplinary university of applied sciences in Finland. Its core tasks include research, development, and innovation (RDI) in digital solutions, low-carbon initiatives, and business development. OAMK’s PrinLab provides printed intelligence services and supports Research and Development work. Engaged in over 180 projects in 2022, OAMK collaborates with VET, higher education, and industry. In the INFINITE project, OAMK will develop tools for PFOE research and education.

OSAO

OSAO is one of Finland’s largest vocational colleges with 8500 students and 850 staff, operating across eight campuses in the Oulu Region. Offering EQF 4-5 vocational qualifications, OSAO provides training in various fields including ICT, natural resources, and social services. OSAO is active in international projects like Erasmus+ and holds the Vet Mobility Charter. Known for its innovative curriculum development, OSAO will coordinate WP3, developing curricula and learning methodologies.

SALES

SALES, founded in 1927, is a Spanish educational center focused on vocational training. It offers secondary and vocational education, continuous training, and socio-educational services. The community includes about 1000 students and 100 staff members. SALES provides VET in fields such as electricity, electronics, graphic arts, industrial mechanics, and carpentry. Following the EFQM model, SALES holds the 500+ seal since 2010. With experience in electronics and functional printing, SALES will lead WP4, implementing innovative curricula.
